Giulia Rovelli

Giulia Rovelli (giulia.rovelli@unibg.it) is a fixed-timed researcher of English Linguistics at the University of Bergamo. Her research interests include historical sociopragmatics, corpus linguistics, historical discourse analysis, and English for special purposes. Her research has focused on late-seventeenth-century English and, in particular, on the popularization of medical knowledge. She has also worked on terminology and discrimination in media language, and on the language of the public administration. She is currently working on the Canadian Letters and Diaries Project (CanDL) in collaboration with the Rural Diary Archive and with the McLaughlin Library of the University of Guelph, Canada.
