Gloria Mambelli

Gloria Mambelli (gloria.mambelli@univr.it) is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Verona, where she also teaches English linguistics and the history of English. She holds a PhD from the same institution, with a thesis on the impact of multilingualism on the lexis of late medieval rural England. Her research interests focus on the history of the English language, particularly Middle English and multilingualism in post-Conquest England, as well as historical lexicography and lexicology, corpus linguistics, and translation. She is currently working on the compilation of corpora of both synchronic and diachronic English.
