Francesca Ditifeci

Francesca Ditifeci PHD is a ricercatore confermato/professore aggregato in English Linguistics at the University of Florence, Department of Education, Languages, Interculture, Literature and Psychology (FORLILPSI); she teaches English Language and Linguistic Analysis at the School of Political Science ‘Cesare Alfieri’, Course in ‘Political Science’ and in the Master Course in ‘International Relations and European Studies’ (RISE), respectively. Her research areas include political discourse analysis, the history of English and diachronic epistolary discourse, corpus linguistics, Western linguistic identity, human logical systems and language learning, and international adoption. She was the coordinator of the postgraduate specialisation course ‘Nodi e snodi del percorso dell’adozione’ for the University of Florence from 2013 to 2016.  She is co-founder of the Florence Limes Club (2015-) and of the permanent seminar “La Polis senza Creonte e senza Antigone. La politica senza legge e senza desiderio” (2011-) of whose scientific committees she is a member.
