Fabio Ciambella

Fabio Ciambella (fabio.ciambella@uniroma1.it) is a researcher of English at Sapienza University of Rome. His research interests include the intricate relationship between dance and early modern language, historical pragmatics, corpus linguistics, culinary linguistics and second language acquisition. His most recent publications include Dance Lexicon in Shakespeare and His Contemporaries: A Corpus-based Approach (Routledge, 2021), which is a corpus-based analysis of dance-related language in the plays of Shakespeare and his contemporaries, and Teaching English as a Second Language with Shakespeare(Cambridge University Press, 2024).
