Letizia Vezzosi (letizia.vezzosi@unifi.it) is Professor of German philology at the University of Florence. She is the co-founder and co-director of the on-line journal Medioevo Europeo and member of advisory board of the journal LEA. She edited several special issues of the journal Germanic Philology on “North Sea languages”, “Old English Prose” and “Middle English: Language and Manuscript Traditions”. Her research interests include historical linguistics, code switching, multilingualism, translation, and philology, especially concerning Old and Middle English, and medieval studies.
